If anyone is interested in TT'ing on the extreme tracks please post your name here, seems extreme mode isn't as popular as GP mode but if we get 4 or more of us I'd be happy to organise it. I'm thinking of doing it a little differently to the gp time trial we already have going on, maybe running 4 tracks at a time, that way we could cover the whole season in 4 or 5 weeks. The tracks are mostly a lot shorter and more forgiving than the gp tracks so it shouldn't be as frustrating!!

Anyone interested or am I the lone extreme rider out here:mad:

i Quite like the extreme side of this game so count me in as long as you stick to one level i.e. 600,1000 or 1200

    Thanks m8, I am not alone :)

Actually, as some people will already have set their best times with a 1200 ( like me ) it would be impossible to post a time with a 600 or 1000, so it'll have to be either 1200 only or any class you like. Obviously people riding the 1200's will have the advantage so can't see anyone choosing a 600 or 1000. Hope that makes sense.

I'll post some times if this goes ahead :smashin:

Worth also mentioning that people should try and upgrade their 1200 bikes fully else it won't be a level competition...

Heay Kevlar - count me in mate! ;)

Can i also add; if we are going to be doing 4 tracks per week, is it possible to wait till the GP TT is finished?

Only i'm thinking for those of us that are in the GP TT if we were to also compete in the Exteme TT's that like 5 tracks per week - thats alot go fit in mate when you've got other commitments like work etc... I'd struggle with 4 let alone 5 in a week. lol

    Just a thought.

    Tony :)

Hmm.....that would be like, 2 months away, daubt any of us will still be playing moto gp then. Details are not final, I'm open to sugestions, but if we were to do only 1 track per week it would drag on for 4 months and no daubt people would drop out as they have gp TT. What about 2 or 3 tracks per week? Also as I mentioned in the first post extreme tracks are mostly a lot shorter than gp tracks, and with the arcadey nature of the extreme bikes nowhere near as frustrating as GP TT'ing.

How about just total time for all extreme tracks? Add up the times for all 17 tracks and compare to each other. Leader would be on 0.00 everyone else on +x.xx giving a total leaderboard. you would see how many seconds you need to pick up from somewhere in order to move up a place. We could run it for a set amount of time, say 8 weeks for example with weekly updates to the leaderboard? that way you could concentrate on any track you fancy, any time and bring your overall time down that way, improving your position on the leaderboard.

Just a sugestion and open to othere options.

    What does everyone think?

i like the idea of a total time for all the tracks as you could concentrate on any track but i think it would be too hard to run as some people will forget and by th eend there may not be many people left.

Maybe your right C225, what do you think would be the best way to run it? If we did do the total time leaderboard there would be weekly updates and maybe even a personal message through live or pm through av forums of current position.

I'll be interested. Only had a spin on the exteme mode last week for the first time, and found it really refreshing. those 1200cc bikes, have much better engine breaking capabilities.

I doubt i'll be able to fit 4 tracks a week in tho as i'm really sh*t at time trials and i have a demanding girlfriend who expects me to cook, clean and..........., maybe two at a push tho:D

This is the way i thought it could be done

Do 2 tracks a week as anymore would be too many to get a decent time on all and might interfere with the GP TT that dodger runs

Add the 2 tracks times together and arrange the leaderboard with the combined times.

Then award the points in the leaderboard in the FIA style i.e. 10,8,6,5,4,3,2,1

Also if possible as well as the points leaderboard you could have a total time leader board.

This way you might keep people interested with the new tracks every week and at the end have two winners one with most points and one with the lowest time.

I like the sound of that m8, we'll go with that if no-one has any complaints or better sugestions. I'll organise it to start this Sunday. Everyone please be aware that if there is a track you haven't yet posted a time for this will be reflected in an artificially high overall time as the scoreboard gives you a default time for such a track, I think it might be 5 minutes or something like that, so it's in everyones interest to have a time posted for every track however slow. If you have played a few seasons on extreme mode you will already have posted times for most tracks if not all, so may just have a few tracks left you need to get a time posted for.

    :D

I've only done a 1 lap season on the extreme 600 bikes and would have to put too much time into the game to become anywhere near competitive. So I'll think I will stick with the GP bikes...

I'll be in, Extreme is far better fun than GP.
The GP bikes are SH*T, but thats prob just me using Extreme too much.
Give me an Extreme 1200 for use in GP and i'll actually play GP. lol

Not bad at it but recently cracked Extreme legend and so had some fair qualy laps posted ( dont think i cracked a top 2000 lap tho in Qualy) and should still be fresh. (ish) lol
Not actually done Time Trial in extreme so this will be cool.
Im in:smashin: . Sunday start was it?
    Tracks in order?

Yes, we will run Sunday to Saturday, 2 tracks/week in the normal order so first week will be Andalucia and Algarve. Both lap times to be added together to decide that weeks placing. I will make a sperate post each week for everyone to post their times. I will also show a total time leaderboard for all the extreme tracks.

Welcome aboard m8, I'll send you a friends request so I can keep track of the times.
