Oh, didn't realise this was out today. I played the original tons, but skipped the second one. Might just have to nip to the local games emporium after work!

Ive been playing the prerelease (if you know what i mean ;)) for the last couple of days and i cant make my mind up about it.The bike dont react quick enough from left to right and i just end up pinballing around the circuits half the time. However the Extreme mode is very enjoyable.your on custom bikes around ficticous tracks but most of them have long sweeping corners and it feels pretty good to power round them.Me and my Forza clan were all going to rent it and have a night on XBL but blockbusters only got it in to buy and not to rent so thats that out of the window, hopefully they will get it in eventually.Would be nice if you could post back with your XBL experiance of it Decadence :)

Have you played any of the other Moto GP games Phunt? Don't forget that a bike is a very different beast to a car and they don't react quickly from left to right in real life. The rider has to position himself and lean etc. It's all about getting a good rhythym going on the bike games.

Personally I am not a bike fan in real life but the first Moto GP game must be one of my most played live titles and definately the most played racer.

Man it's hard to get the hang of! Tried most of the weekend to get to grips with it and am still shocking! I will persevere though because I quite like it in spite of my badness...

Its tough, you really have to learn the tracks as you have to lean into the corners way before they come up. Stick with it though, if its anywhere near as good as 1 or 2, it's class...

I should be trying it online tonight. From the brief play I have had offline I would say that anyone familiar with GP1, (I didn't play number 2), shouldn't have too much trouble settling in.

Me and a m8 have been playing Tag mode in split screen all night, the track is split into like 17 sectors and the quickest rider over any 1 sector owns it untill the other rider goes faster through it and its awesome.so awesome infact ive just bought the game from ebay :) cant wait to get it on XBL now

I'll never forget my introduction to Xbox Live, Moto GP1.
Superb game. The competitive matches I had with some of the AVForum regulars will be something I shall never forget.
If I hadn't just purchased a PSP and wasn't saving for the 360 then I'd definitely get this.

You really got to have patience with this one, it's frustrating until you learn the tracks, when it becomes really rewarding. Don't expect it to come as quickly as other racing titles maybe...

Mine`s being sold aswell, I don`t have hours of spare time to learn all the tracks. :(

If I didn`t have a job, I`m sure I could spare the days it needs to get into it.

I`m another one who loved Moto GP1 aswell, many a good memory.

    Spoony.

If you loved Moto GP1, why are you selling GP3? A lot of tracks are the same and you can just use the arrows for guidance on the others. I played GP1 a lot and it's only taken about 20-30 minutes to get back into the swing for this new one.

Moto GP 1 was super fun, but that`s because loads of people I know played it, nearly three years ago now!

Now I have 3 people online playing it on my friends list, hasn`t got the same draw power it had, as so many other games to play.
I want to play the games for fun, and this is far from fun for me IMHO.

    Spoony.
