BUCK ROGERS LYRICS

He's got a brand new car
Looks like a Jaguar
It's got leather seats
It's got a CD player (player, player, player...)

...

We'll start over again
Grow ourselves new skin
Get a house in Devon
Drink cider from a lemon (lemon, lemon, lemon...)

That tune just makes me want to load up Gran Turismo 3 and watch the intro.

But I don't wanna hear about it anymore...

Julian Cope is underrated, as far as I'm concerned. A lot of people I know haven't really heard of him (despite my best efforts).

I'm excluding Teardrop Explodes from this: his solo work seems to have been overlooked by quite a few.

Bell and sebastian, all though they have a cult following. They deserve far more air play then they get.

I used to really like 'Idlewild' also the 'Pixies' didn't recieve as much recognition as they might have deserved.

Yep. On what is perhaps their worst album. They're ok, I guess.

As for other underrated bands - think I'd nominate A, Biffy Clyro and Incubus (hehe).

MuFu.

H seemed to have some sort of silicon extension after leaving Jordan's bed on night, but I don't recall it being chest high

How about 'A Perfect Circle' for the MOST UNDERRATED BAND award.....

2 quality albums, and not the intricacies and heaviness of Tool. Just great musicianship, well-produced, thoughtful rock music!

I can't remember seeing one of their videos or hearing one of their songs on TV or radio for eons.....

The Sensational Alex Harvey Band.
Most people only remember them for Delilah and Boston Tea Party but they were so much more than that. Have a listen to "Framed" - one of my favourite albums from them.
Edit - It may sound a bit dated these days though !
