    Hi,

I recently downloaded TomTom Nav 5 onto the phone and it works well. However it will not permantly save the settings ie Home address, POI settings?
It will save them whilst navigating, but once this is complete and i turn the sat nav off and then on again, the settings i had previously set have disappeared?
    Any ideas anyone?
Another problem i have, is i also downloaded a GPRS Monitor but no longer want it on the phone. Iv'e tried to delete the file but it wont allow me to do this. It brings up an error message stating there is a share violation or i dont have permission to do so?

    Please help if you can.

    Thanks
    Wayne.

Check in the map folder for a file called mapsettings.cfg is not set to read only. Copy file to PC, remove read only and copy back to PDA.

Have you spoken to TomTom support?

Yes. This version of TomTom was given to me by a friend as they have recently upgraded, and to get support you need codes etc which she no longer has, therefore TomTom are unwilling to help.

    Any ideas?
