If you record a composite signal and play it back in RGB do you still get a composite signal? what is the quality like?

If you download DV footage to the HS2 hard drive and the HS2 automaticaly chops it up in to chapters, can you ONLY delete chapters or can you chop up chapters and get rid of everything you don't want?

What are the title screen/menu's like on the HS2?

You would get a composite quality recording output in rgb.

You can edit the dv footage as much as you want, even create playlists from several hours worth to fill one dvd-r

So the composite RGB picture would be better than normal composite then?

What are the menu's like on the HS2?

No-if you record in composite-you are stuck with inferior quality even if you output in RGB.Its like recording on to dvd from a vhs then expecting a dvd quality recording.
Menus on the HS2 are pretty bland, but you will need a PC kit to jazz them up.Not worth the hassle.

If you want chapter stops visible on the menu, i.e. with thumbnails etc then a PC IS worth the hassle as the HS2 only shows Titles (programmes) on the menus.
