More Birds of Prey .....

Here are a selection of mine taken over the bank holiday at a nearby birds of prey show.

All taken with Canon 30D and 70-200mm f2.8L IS with Kenko 1.4x teleconverter.

Didn't manage any decent enough in flight shots unfortunately. Still getting used to the lens and teleconverter.

Excellent shots. I find those owl's eyes to be really mesmerising.

The ones with a coloured background (e.g. #6) look much better than the ones against the sky. It makes the bird stand out more and is easier on the eye - worth remembering for next time possibly.
