Trying to decide on a good (budget) speaker package and these two have caught my eye. Have a MAX of around £300 to spend in total on the speakers.

The Mordaunt Short package is £299 and the Tannoy package I can get for £179.99. I prefer the looks of the MS package by a mile.

Any thoughts? I also have seen the Wharfdale Moviestar 60 package for £99 which looked a good deal.

    bump

I would be interested in views of these 2 also. Does the extra £100 show up in the quality of sound?

    Thanks

You can actually get the Mordaunt Short package for £239 at Richer Sounds, so the difference is only £60.

Birmingham and Coventry had some yesterday and today. Bought mine yesterday and they are great :)

Only problem was, I got a parking ticket when I pulled the car out front to pick up the boxes :(
