    Hi,
I'm currently using a MS309. Can anyone tell me what I should do with the notch filter? It's currently switched off, but I'd like to experiment with it to see if it improves things.

What procedure should I follow? The 309 doesn't come with a set up CD (I believe that's only with the 909)

    Thanks

It is meant to . PM me with a postal address and you can have a disc. There is also a better explanation in the manual you can print off the website. Broadly speaking, studying the 309's output from the CD on an SPL meter will probably find a peak that can be ironed out by setting the notch filter accordingly.
