I have been given a set of mordaunt-short ms10 speakers and am having difficulty finding suitable cable/connectors to attach to my amp, the speakers each have 2 ports on the back of them that look like they could house 1/4 inch jacks and the amp has 2 bare wire connection ports for each speaker, any suggestion on which cable i need and best place to get it?

    cheers in advance

Hello and welcome to the forum. The speakers will take any speaker cable ,if you unscrew the red and black thumb screws there will be a hole which goes through the terminals that will take bare wire.Or you could use banana plugs which will plug into the speakers.

You could get your cable from a number of places ,Maplins the local hifi shop It really depends on how much you want to spend ,just don't go for cheap thin wire.
