    Hi guys, :)

After reading many reviews I have got myself a new Genie system, but I have a problem. I want to use a dedicated lead from my Yamaha AX750Se amp, I have the lead and the sub is going to be 3 metres from the amp, but the problem is that there are only RCA inputs on the sub and no dedicated input for 1 lead, what are my options? :lease:

The input on the sub will be of the RCA variety and whilst most subs only have the one input some do have two. If there is nothing in the manual to the contrary either one will do

Its sounds as if you need to reread the sub installation instructions my friend. Cant remember from memory but the dedicated lead plugs into one of the sub sockets. Cant remember if its the left or right. I will check when I get home tonight and post back.

it is definately the left one, 'standard' (expensive) phono cable will do the trick...

Is it worth purchasing a splitter? Will it make an iota of difference?

It increases the sensitivity of the Auto On but otherwise no difference.
