this is going to be my first home cinema setup, ok so i've got my denon-avr1909 and have decided to up my speaker budget to £450, i've narrowed it down to three packages above but have only heard the MS alumni's (which did sound amazing), i'm after anyone else's reccomendations on choosing out of the three

    thanks all

im waiting for the 1019 to drop a bit and see some reviews but its my fav choice

    i will also need speakers

had considered the q acoustics but the monitor audio hd's have caught my eye and would match the pioneer styling ( i have a 5090 plasma)

The monitor audio hd's are great however take a look at the monitor audio vector 5.1 series they are supposed to have a better sound than the Qacoustics and are about the same cost. Exceptional-AV.co.uk : : Specialists in Onkyo's award winning Hifi and home theatre systems

Alternativly the monitor audio R90 5.1 system can be picked up at some places for £895 which when you consider the subalone sells for £700 ish makes it a bargin! http://www.vickers-hifi.co.uk/retail/radius.html hope this helps
