anyone have any idea when the ms genie av package is going to be in the shops?
any why am i still an av forum "new member"
August is the plan but it being a bit different from anything we've ever done might slip a week or two.
Its because you havent posted enough. I think it will change when you post's hit 30+
ok, thanks for both answers (10 posts to go) (and 10 days...
Are these speakers meant to blow the Kef Eggs 2005.2 and Bose AM6 Mk3s out of the water? Any idea on price? Thanks.
£800 for 5 speakers and sub. £1000 for seven speakers and sub. The price includes such niceties as an SPL meter included and the foot of each satellite swivels around to become a wall mount.
Any news on the Genies - and what amp would you recommend ?
Think tons is on his hols
the Genie site has been updated - http://www.hello-genie.co.uk. I've read somewhere else that they will be coming out in mid September.
Thanks guys - looks like I'll just have to be patient
We're doing our best for an early September release. Making curvy metal things has proved more challenging than we might have one though . The review systems were being warmed up when I came in this morning and were sounding excellent so I'm very positive about it.
Thanks Tons - can't wait to hear these in action.......
Hmmm....these look interesting! Since Mr Tons seems to work for MS.....gota coupla Q's for you...
Are they going to come with grills? Have just lost a tweeter to my 2 yr old son
Could I hang the rears from the ceiling and angle them down a tad? Sounds a bit
odd, I know, but I have a large bay where the ceiling is quite a bit lower than
the rest of the lounge...could be the answer to my rear problem...ahem....if you see what I mean !
Yes there are grills. Each tweeter also carries a metal grill over the top so you don't have to use the full grill. The mids should be child proof unless you child is a dab hand with pinking shears or an air rifle.
Within reason, the joint should handle this. There is a template provided for correct wall mounting.
