I watched a little of Monsters Inc R1 at the weekend, and noticed a total lack of bass when the flying guy in the THX trailer lands. Compared to the same trailer on the Toy Story 2 disc it is almost like the .1 channel is missing from the trailer.

The film seemed fine afterwards so this is no big deal, just wondering if anyone else had noticed the same...

Yep! no bass at the start of this trailer, only comes in when the moo-cows start to stampede.

Don't know why they altered it.

The R1 US version has the lfe track, the Canadian version has not. Because of the French language track, you see. R2 might have it but may not if the BBFC found it to be too low (below the waistline, not suitable for kiddies you see).

    :D :D :D
