Just thought I'd post the link for IGNs review of this cable, I know people are often curious if these cables are worth the extra money so it's worth a read before you go ahead & buy;)

Perhaps the most important part of their review which personally doesn't surprise me in the least:

Anyway, obviously make up your own mind but thought it was worth posting it up as no doubt people will be asking:)

yeah, monster is overrated IMO,for most of the cables they produce.
i tried the official cables, and the madcatz ones from gamestation, and saw no difference between them at all, except for the difference of £10 for the official ones.
but really would never ever think of buying monster ones, too expensive, and not enough bang for the buck.
specially the £70 full set of 360 cables..what a rip off, when the £17 official ones do the same.
i often think though, that really,do some people only see differences to validate there purchase.

I need to get a component cable now my new TV has arrived :D
Can I take it the official one is the best to get? And are there any bargains to be had online or shall I just pop into my local Game?

The only benefit I can see to the Monster cable would be if you needed the extra length, 10 foot over the officials 3 foot(???).
