Hello

has anyone else used the monster calibration disc?
there is a test to resize the screen (some people playing pool) and the lovely Jenna Dray tells me to stretch the screen to match the small version shown on screen. Doing this means that the input image from my dvd player is bigger than the screen...

i was under the impression that the edges of the input image should line up with the edge of the screen. otherwise i'm missing some of the source...

can anyone advise which is correct?

thanks

what it could be doing is making sure your screen is set up with some overscan??????

this is so that untidy edges of sources are kept off screen - im not sure though

i suppose, but it's quite a lot of the picture i'm "losing"
