I really need some advice on this.
I am just about to buy a new PC with a standard 17" TFT monitor. Main use will be usual PC stuff and a bit of gaming.
However I will be using it to double up at a TV too sometimes (space saving).
The benefits of a 16:9 monitor/tv would be great for movies, but will this negatively affect the PC use? ie. will it "cut" the side of the widescreen to fit into the standard square ration that PC's use?
Any thoughts on whether i should stick with a normal 17" or whether to go for a widesreen?
Thanks everyone, much appreciated!
