I've got the Monitor Audio Silver 1 as my mains and a matching Silver centre. They sound excellent and more neutral than the equivalent B&W 600s which I also tried.

    hi godfather
can you tell me if they are okay to position close to a wall.Mine would have to go either side my tv in a corner. At the moment ive got mission m71is and m7c2 centre with the bungs fitted to keep the bass tight.I would be keeping my m7ds for rear surround duties. Thanks gonzo.:)

My room is relatively narrow (9' wide) and I've a big widescreen RPTV so my main speakers are probably a bit too close to the side walls (about 30cm). The back of the speakers are about 50cm from the front wall. Sounds fine to me but I've got a feeling they're be even better if placed further away from the side walls.
