I am considering buying a pair of used Floorstanders on eBay and would like to know if anyone has experience of Tannoy Revolution R3 speakers[about 5years old] and Monitor Audio Silver R6 Speakers [2 years old] Which would be the better Buy?

Without a doubt, the MA Silver range. These are fantastic speakers, fast pacey, detailed, though some may say bright in the bad sense, I think them really exciting to listen to. Look nice, too.

Monitor Audio maybe a better choice I guess. I think the Tannoy R3 may not be a match for the MA silver series in terms of clarity and details.
