Currently have original MA Silver 8i's, 3i's at the rear and 12i centre. May be moving soon so possibly have to swap for something with a smaller footprint, but I still require the same sound.

Looking at the MA Radius 270's for front and rear, and 180 for centre. How do these compare musically and for movies ?

I think M.A. Radius series replaces the M.A. Baby Boomer series.

As expected the Baby Boomer don't come close to even the M.A. Bronze B1...

Same kind of sound, but not the same presence...

Baby are allright for rear effects...

Maybe the Radius are a litthe better but are also small speaker, suited for Av in a satellite package, but not suited for real music I think...

Don't use them without a good sub. I have got 180's all round, it is a step down from decent floor standers. But if your personal situation is like mine, a toddler discovering walking, I just could not keep my floor standers....

For satellite speakers they are still large and much more mature sounding than the alternatives available....The Radius series is absolutely amazing, ten/twenty times better than the much hyped eggs or VM1's or even the 5005's...
