Various walnut finish Monitor Audio Bronze's. 5th gen models. New prices.

Comprises:-

Bronze 6's (unboxed) SOLD
Bronze Centre (fully boxed) £65
Bronze FX's (fully boxed) SOLD
Bronze FX's (unboxed) £150
Bronze W10 (fully boxed) £275
Bronze W10 (fully boxed) £275

All are in very-good/mint condition from a pet-free, smoke-free home. All grille's are present and correct.
There is also a slight mark on the top of one of the subs - shown in a photo further down the thread.

No photos of the unboxed pair of FX's due to the 12 photo limit - however they're absolutely identical to the first pair anyway.

NB. All speakers have a trace of 'smartwater' security liquid on them in a non-visible location (looks like a smudge of varnish in some of the rear-photos).

Many thanks for looking.

Ian

Hi,

I've actually got two but wasn't intending to let those go.

However, it that'd help move these along then I'd be prepared to do £1000 with one, or £1250 with both...

I guess I would - but remember they're not boxed and you appear to be in a 'less accessible' location - unless you come over to the mainland regularly?

I'll have to change the ad to reflect separate prices if you were absolutely serious...

The 'Rona has made things more difficult and a trip to the mainland would have been a little more possible in days gone past.
I guess I'm at the point where there are two questions.
1) What are you looking for for just the Bronze 6's ?
2) Would you consider courier shipping ?

Price and shipping logistics are the factors unfortunatley.
But to answer your question, Yes I'm keen.

Thanks for the reply earlier.
Cheers, Q.

No problem - I'm glad I've got some interest!

I think the lack of boxes might be a bigger issue at this point...if somebody were collecting them I'd let them go for £300. I simply haven't got any way of packing them for a courier though.

Good day Ian.

Thanks for that.
If logistics werent a challenge I'd be all over this purchase.
In saying that , I'm really thinking about taking your entire bundle. The problem here once again is the damn covid and our borders are still closed for off island travel ( admittedly for good reason though ).
I'm investigating options of someone collecting and getting it to the boat in Liverpool.
Whilst I'd love to commit , I cant quite until I work this last detail out.

If you have any idea's , lets chat as its a lovely system and I hope to figure something out to make this feasable.

Have a good one.

Quin.

Hi Quin,

Given that I don't seem to be generating much other interest as yet I'd say you're fine for the time being anyway.

If you decide you're dead set on having them (I'm assuming you just mean the 7.0 as advertised and not the subs) I'd be prepared to close the ad and wait on you being able to travel or whatever?

Let me know what you think.

Ian

Hi Ian,
Looks like you may almost have these sold, but if you do decide to split, or someone only wants a 5.0 setup, I'd be interested in a pair of the FX surrounds dependant on price.

EDIT: Interest withdrawn as purchased a set elsewhere. GLWS :)

Regards
Anthony

Hey Ian.

Thank you for that gracious offer. Apologies for getting back to you late. I was sidetracked with birthday activities and on top of that , it looks like some options are opening up for travel off the island.
With Anthony in line above for a set of FX's please can you afford me a day to find out the details of travel and whats possible.
If I can mange to get off the island easy enough , I'd want to take the entire bundle off you. ( No Subs )

Thanks and cheers,
Quin.

Hi Ian,

I am interested in the whole set with the 2 subs. I don’t want to make an offer too low and offend you. What’s the best you can do for the lot with the 2 subs? I can collect within the week. Many Thanks.

Ian, Forgot to ask in the previous post where did you get the speakers from and is there any warranty left with the seller?

Hey Ian.
Sadly the logistics of our still current lockdown is not going to make the purchase possible. Quite a pity for me but hopefully the interest above sees you with a smooth sale.

Thanks and GLWS.
Cheers.
Quinton.

Quin - No problem at all - quite understand.

SoundSpace - Hi, and thanks for the interest. I'm going to stick with the price I mentioned above for the set with two subs - £1250. I didn't/don't really want to let those go anyway as all it does is commit me to another purchase of my own! Obviously you could just go with the 7.0 set and sort out a sub (or subs) separately if you think I'm asking too much..

All the speakers - except the 6's which were a private sale - came from Peter Tyson's in March 2016 so I suspect the warranty is all gone (the only details I can find for the 5 year one state that it started in Jan 2017).

Regards,
Ian

Soundspace - just in the interest of full disclosure(!) - both subs are boxed with all the bits and bobs.
One however has a mark on the top where I dropped something onto it - it hides pretty well with shoe polish though...this photo shows it:-

If you are splitting I may be interested in the centre and a pair of the fx's and a sub. Can you price them?

Hi alexander - I've now added individual pricing for the items. For the centre, pair of FX's and a sub I'd be asking £540. I see you're in Kent though - would you be arranging your own courier in this instance (I'm assuming you'd not be wanting to collect) ?

Thanks.

sorry for the delay replying and thanks for taking the time to price. However I can get the bronze package full 5.1 package for 750 new so the price is way too high for me. Good luck with the sale

No worries - out of interest where is than from then please ?

(Because the cheapest Bronze 6 AV set I can find is still £1640, and the cheapest Bronze 5 AV set £954 - so I'm still well under both...)

Hi Azzz,

£840 for the 5.1 set then - thanks for looking.
Sorry, that's not a very competitive price given a quick google i can see a brand new set from AVO for £110 more including delivery and warranty. Good luck with your sale.
