Thinking about getting this player, but first I need to know two things:

Can I connect it through DVI to a non HDCP equipment? - I think I found an answer for this one - It can!

The most important question: I have a collection of HDTV movies, all in TS file format.
Is momitsu able to play these large HD TS files, and if yes - how is the performance (any skipped frames or judder)?

Yes you can connect to to non-hdcp DVI, although getting the best DVI settings may be slightly challenging.

Don't know the answer to your other question, but i suspect it won't work (requires EM8620 rather than EM8550 chip?), and it will at least depend on your server/network pereformance for smooth playback.
