Momitsu V880N and Blade Trinity R1 Extended Edition problem

Anyone have the above film with a momitsu V880N DVD player, any issues with getting the film to play on it.

Have just got Blade Trinity and the 1st disk of the 2 (film one) won't play. Just says No Disk on display. 2nd disk is OK and plays fine.

Thought the V880 series was supposed to be able of playing most things, especially a standard commercial DVD.

Firmware has been upgraded to see if that fixed it - nope is answer. Firmware is release 17-May-05 from the update firmware option in the v880n's menu .

Have tried the same disk in a freebie Bush dvd player and it plays fine - can't believe a £30 dvd player outplays a circa £300 unit.

anyone have this disk and v880n can try it out
