Moldy grilles

So, had a look and nothing similar is coming up

Backstory: I am a student who is lucky enough to have built my own system, but i am still forced to live in student accomodation as its cheaper (more money for decent hardware) anywho, this is a victorian house, and is susceptible to damp.

My Subwoofer (Yamaha yst-sw305) has been in corner of room, and when i topped up the gas meter, i noticed it has a number of spots of what can only be mold (further inspection reveals the corner of the room that is normally concealed by open door, is also getting its mold on) and i am pretty unsure how to get it off. i dont want to go too hard on the grill in case it isnt removable, and breaking it would suck. so my only option is to try and clean it off in situ.

Any ideas?

P.s. i will be relocating sub to other side of room to mitigate this happening again.
