    Interesting timing.

    They've been able to count how many modded xboxes are on all along.

    watch sales of pukka halo2 and xboxes go through the roof this month and next !!!

    Can't knock, MS know what they're doing.

    Anyone an idea if this affects those with softmods (ie. me!) who have enabled HiDef, but do not have a hardware modified box atall? I'm nervous now...

    It would be harsh if MS ban people for wanting to enjoy Hidef.

    The current theory behind the halo2 game causing banning, seems that you only get banned if you swap your HD after you first go onto XBL with a given Xbox.

    From what I have read it is all down to the EEPROM matching the HD key/serial matching.

    I suppose we will have to wait and see.
