    Folks,

on the O2 website it says that you need to text them and they will activate the function for you.

I've got an Apple unlocked 3g 16GB and I'm on three......any ideas how to activate MMS? There is also guidelines as to the changes on the APN side of things on the O2 site anyone that could advise on that as well?

    Cheers

I've upgraded a couple of peoples 3G's to OS 3.0 and they tried sending a pic message yesterday and got a confirmation pic message this morning from o2.
But apparently you can text MMS to 1010.

If its P&G then you have to change some settings on the iphone which i'm sure i've seen on here somewhere.

When you upgrade you're going to have to change your APNs:

Search for iPhone APN PAYG on the o2 site.

Try just sending a pic message and see what happens.

Well I have 3.0 already and have received the mms text.

I am on the PAYG text anytime £10 top up so get 300 texts a month.

I sent 2 mms today and have been charged 25p each one.

On the website it states that for each mms you use 3 texts in your messaging bolt on.

It seems the text anytime top up allowance is not included. Well not today anyway, tomorrow may be different!

well i have tried all these and so far no luck. I can receive mms but no chance of sending just keeps giving an error message.
If I use three.co.uk as the apn, it gets further in the progress bar than if I use mms.three.co.uk

I have run out of things to try, anyone managed it?
