    Hi,

I have noticed (and it may have been there longer) that a few of my mkvs which have been converted to vob using mkv2vob "judder" and I can't seem to get to the bottom of it. Some seem to play fine all the way through and others don't. They are usually 720p TV episodes.

It seems to be the PS3 which is introducing the judder because they play back fine on my PC although at times they play back fine on the PS3 too.

I have tried wireless and directly off an external hard drive and it seems when the judder occurs I can stop the playback, restart and the judder goes but sometimes re-appears later.

Is it something to do with my TV? The PS3? or the media?

    I have a Sony KDL-32D3000 for reference.

    Cheers,

It does sound like something to do with the conversion of the file in the first place to be honest.

You're better off trying the mkv2vob forum as you'll probably get more specialized advice, plus you can get the latest version and see if it's better, and you can also name the files etc and get others to see if they have the problem..

Thanks, just asked the same question over there.

Edit: according to the mkv2vob author its a bug with the PS3 firmware. :(
