mkv2vob - Lips out of synch by 20+ seconds

Hey

Just wondering if anyone else has this issue.

I just converted a couple movies from MKV to MP4 format and am streaming them and the lips are out of synch so much its unwatchable.

Is this because of streaming, would it be better if it was local on the PS3?

Is this because of MP4 format? Is anyone else using MP4 or just VOB?

Hi,
While i don't stream HD content to the PS3 I have copied these files to the PS3 wirelessly and found if I fast forwarded the movie to the beginning the audio would be out of sync; stopping and restarting the movie rectified the audio.

I figured this out on the weekend, it seems to resolve the sync issue and I notice that's exactly what was happening to me as well. Seems to only happen after skipping through the movie a bit.
