I have just bought an MJ Acoustics ref 100, and am experimenting with the set-up.

I was wondering if anyone with a similar sub could answer the following:

    1. Is there any run in procedure that should be followed?

    2. MJAs website recommends using the low level input to take the LFE feed from an AV amp, whilst using the high level input to add bass to the centre channel at the same time - has anybody tried this?

Have a Pro 50 and didn't particularly notice any dramatic change but as a broad generalisation, most speakers sound better once they've had some time to run in.

Used to have this set-up but now have a bigger sub just for LFE with the Pro50 using a high level connection from the L & R front channels. Takes some time to get the xover and level set but it's worth the effort. Bought all the bits to make the lead from here and just followed the instructions on the leaflet supplied with the sub.
