Hi All, I'm setting up some hidden cabling in my house for my 6.1 setup. I am planning to have several wall sockets with banana plug terminals. So I was planning on having 7 behind the amp and others around the room.

What I am wondering is if there is a big problem with mixing the types of cables. So I was thinking of running QED Original between the amp and the wall. Then running QED original through the walls to the other plugs then using something like QED Qontour Ultra Flat between the wall plug and the speaker (I need to run some under a carpet).

Is there any major problem in doing this?
