Mitsubishi SL2U ??

    Is the Mitsubishi SL2U a good projector for Home Theater use ?

    Yes: quiet, bright, amazing contrast...but you may consider an XGA Pj for *best* results. I have the SL1U though and didn't find any quality differences between a true XGA and this SVGA.

    Np Mayworm, it'll all depends on usage and price though - purists around here will tell you to go for something widesreen if it's solely for HC use. I have the SL1U and personally I love the picture and the low noise...the 4:3 doesn't bother me as I'll sometimes use it for TV, even in WS mode, it's only a bit of extra 'black' light above and below the image.
