spamboy - a mate of mine has been in touch with Nexnix re the AE700. He was told that they are not planning to stock the AE700. We also wanted to compare the AE700 against the HC900. If you have a demo of the HC900 could you please let us know what you think. We went down to Nexnix a few weeks ago and saw a few projectors including the Sharp Z200. I was very impressed with the Z200. The HC900 has a similar spec but a much lower price (£1682). My only concern is rainbows. I could see a few rainbows on the Z200 but nothing like as bad as the 4805. The comments from AVS suggest the HC900 should be even better.

I phoned them today when I saw the updated price. As you say they're not getting the ae700 in. Seems a bit odd given it's the projector of the moment. I'm trying to find somewhere that does both, but if I can't I'll go and have a look there. Either way, I'll post my opinions in this thread.
