In every picture of these I have seen in a setup they have been flipped upside down. I'd like to know two things.

    1. Does this give any sonic benefit?
    2. How do I actually do it?

Also, mine are near the ceiling, if that makes any difference.

    Thanks

they're made to go either way with holes for both, the badge comes out if you need to reverse it. one reason is you can put the flat part right up against the ceiling if you want them this way or put them the other way up if they're going on shelves. they're a versatile design. (up against the ceiling the flat part will reinforce the mid-bass a bit.)

just ease the badge out gently and evenly with your fingernails, they're on two round push in pegs.

Can you do the same with the newer m7ds?

BTW, are there benifits in having the ds speakers upside-down?

badges have been the same on all the missions i've had.
putting them upsid down is mainly down to aesthetics and according to mission does not affect performance. i've not used the m7 dut it should tell you in the literature provided.

You know what I mean though, if I'd of pulled it off, if it was only on by cheap glue I would of been in trouble.

    Thanks :D
