    Can i build a mission speaker system for around 300£?
    What are the best choices?

    You can build a mission speaker system for £300.

    Mission speakers are very good indeed.

    With £300 you'll be limited to the M7i range.

    For less than £300 you can get the FS1 system.

    As in the amps forum, if you like the Mission sound then you may do well to hunt out some of the 77 series which are in that price bracket s/hand.

    richer sounds are doing the fs1 5.1 set for £250 bargain as i paid £350 for mine 6 months ago ace speakers too

    I managed to get my own setup (775e fronts, 77C1 Centre, 771e Rears) for just £440 thanks to the S/H Arena & Richer Sounds.

    Hence my suggestion. I've acquired 771e's and 77C1 for £150 combined s/hand, still looking for those 77ds's though :)

    I've also got s/hand PDR-10 for £110 a few years ago.

    And Denon 1802 new for £280 a few years back - not so different from your setup Dimmy!
