ITV have hidden this away at 23.30 tonight. I do not now if it is any good I think it got bad reviews, but worth a look to see if it is any better.
Must say though it seems a silly time to put the film on seeing it is a premier and the rubbish they put on at normal time. I just hope it is un-cut and in W/S.

Might give this a bash, although it only gets 1 out of 5 stars in my TV mag.

Yes, it got slated when it came out but i'll judge for myself.

Better set the video in case i nod off half way through
(which I probably will anyway regardless if it's any good or not).

I got the DVD of the film in a 'post-Episode II Sci-Fi craze' and thought it was OK. Nothing special but 100 times better than 'Red Planet' which I got about the same time. Worth watching IMHO.

OK, FWIW......****SPOILER ALERT****
(But it's so bad i don't think this film warrants a spoiler alert!)

Just watching the last 15 mins now....Forgot all about it...And glad I did too.....what the fudge!! Looks abosolutley PATHETIC, I'm cringing as I type with that 'Alien and planetarium thingy' scene.

If anyone's recorded it, DON'T BOTHER watching it, looks really daft!

Its minging garbage : really irritating characters.
The music is so bad it actually makes me nauseous.

I'd watch Red Planet any day over this pile: and I don't like Red Planet much either,

Ghosts of Mars....so bad its funny!

It reminded me of SPOILER
The Abyss eg the aliens controlling the earth/water. The guy getting oxygenated fluid etc. Also a bit of 2001.

Well hopefully they all died painfully.:D

One part of the film I really liked was when the computer was rebooted on the stricken rescue ship by unplugging and replugging. Just like real life that.

For General Skanky

SPOILER
They got to the planet except Tim Robbins and found the black guy still alive. He had been monitoring signals and were in clumps of 3, one said a 3D code then they found it was DNA with a bit missing.
The aliens wanted the missing bit as an answer. They entered it and sent it back and it turned out that that Mars was inhibited by advanced aliens which escaped into space but sent some DNA to earth to start life. One went with the aliens to their new home and the rest went back to Earth).

PS spoilers are easy now just click on the Spoiler tab and enter the information.

Under the smiley icons on the reply page to the bottom left of where you chose your COLOUR

Highlight hereI must say it does show a bit on a dark blue background a little as it is white so I use other methods such as this.End

I must say it does show a bit on a dark blue background a little as it is white so I use other methods such as this.

The above I have used colour insteasd if color before the code so you can read it.

We're talking at cross purposes. I saw where it is, I thought you meant click on 'spoiler' and it reveals the answer.

So I still don't know what happened.
