I'm not in the market for speakers so no idea if this is a good
deal or not but supposedly half price

Because the supplier claims it is a half price offer.

I posted in the event another forum member might find this useful
but as I am not looking for speakers then I have not researched to
compare with prices being offered by others and therefore don't
know if it is a genuinely good offer or not.

Am I missing the point of this forum by trying to be helpful?

Not at all and I'm sure this maybe of use to someone in the market for these speakers as it's a hefty slice off the RRP.

I was being sarcastic mate dont' worry. I just thought it was a funny thing to say.

All you would have to do is tap it into Google or pricerunner to find out if it was a good deal. I guess it was interesting to see that rather then tap it into Google and then post "its half the price of everywhere else". The way you posted made me think the internet was a huge place, where it was really difficult to check the price.

Don't take it the wrong way, it just made me chuckle a bit.

No offence taken.

I did quicky run it through a price comparison site which returned
no results and so thought it might have been a discontinued range
at a value price. Obviously not.

Am pleased the post made you laugh so not a complete waste of time

It is quite a good price but no-one sells at RRP, at £250 you're probly saving 100 - 150 quid. Have found them for just under 400 at a number of etailers.
