I saw the DENON SCAVF100 NXT HOME CINEMA SPEAKER PACKAGE on SuperFi's website and was wondering how they compare with the Mission FS2-AV's. The specifications look very similar. Is the Denon subwoofer as good as the the FS2 subwoofer?

do a search on these forums.. pretty sure someone has asked this before..

ultimately, they are similar.. but both speakers & sub are much lower rated and lose some of the mounting options... think they are actually made for Denon by Mission.

since the fs2-avs are available (or were) for £360, there is no real difference in price.

Mission FS2 has a better and more versatile sub.

I have read the reviews on http://www.flat-speaker.co.uk and most of them say that the sub is better on the FS2's. The Denon's are around £370 and seem a bargain, but I have been told that the speakers are smaller than the Mission's. Is it just the casing that is smaller or is a different NXT panel used?

bearing in mind you can get the FS2-AV for less than £410 anyway... . not much of a decision.. go for the FS2s.

both the sub & speakers are less powerful on the Denon set.

on price-guide.co.uk, they list the FS2-av set being £377 at empire-direct...

    a no-brainer as they say.

the Mission are all around better, with more options for fixing, fittings.
