    Hi

I have been offered a good deal on the Mission M7s speakers.

Just wondering if it is worth my while to get these, as I currently own some Sony Pascal SA-VE335 speakers, which are roughly the same price new online.

Will I notice any favourable difference? Or should I wait and save for something better? (and if so what).

    Advice appreciated! mepsipax

The M7 series will totally slay the Sony Pascals.

    Which models were you offered?

    and

    How much were they?

BTW the M7c1 was not very good center speaker the M7c2 is a great center speaker.

    Hi

It is the Mission M7S 5.1 Speaker Package I've been offered,

    http://www.mission.co.uk/product/m7s/m7s.htm

    £150 including speaker stands.
    (Friend upgrading his system).

I know this particular package isn't by any means the best, but moneys a bit tight at present so thought I'd consider them.

Just need to know if they are any better than my Pascal 335s or is it just a sideways step?

    Many thanks

Oh I see my mistake, you meant M7s not M7 series.

I was talking about Mission M7 series speakers like the Mission M71, M72, M73 and M74 (and the respective i additions).

The speakers you have displayed are M7s they are not large proper speakers like the M7 series.

The m7s might be a bit better then the Sony Pascals but to be honest I don't know how much of a upgrade over the Pascals they would be.

Can you audition them to see of you like them?

I would try them out if you can. I'd be inclined to say it'd be more of a sideways step. Wait til you have some more money to spend on better speakers. Upgradeitis is a terrible affliction, but you sometimes have to fight it until you can pay the hi-fi doctor a lot more money than you think you can afford to take it away.

    Thanks for your advise.

OK I will resist getting these, and will instead start saving for something better than the Sony Pascals.

Only problem being I'm kind of limited on the size of speakers, as my living room is only 13 square feet, so have been tending to look at the speaker packages (satellites) as they are smaller.

Are there any quality satellite speaker packages out there anyone could suggest, or does size really make a difference?

Popular choices of the past have been KEF Eggs and Anthony Gallo nucleus Micros.

You might want to post a new thread detailing budget, rooms size and other constraights you have to see what the forum can come up with for you.
