Thinking of buying an M7C2 to replace my M7C which i find a bit 'weak'.

This new speaker from Mission was apparently reviewed in the April 2002 issue of Home Cinema Choice and I wonder if anyone who has a copy could tell me whether this centre speaker got a decent review or not.

    Thanks

    Vectra.

I don't know about thier review but, I have a mission m7c2 center IMO it is great, voices and center effects are loud, clear and perfectly matched to the side effects of my m73's.

I'd like to buy one of these, but I already have a m7c1 and a 77c1. I think I might unload myself of the m7c1 and replace it.

I have heard many good, and a few very good things about the m7c2.

The amp in question is a denon AVR 1802.

I have the centre and rears crossed over at 80 hz (small) setting.

My fronts are on large and the seem to kick out quite a bit of bass.

I will be getting a IPL SW2 sub soon to releave the floorstanding mains from bass duties.

I have an M7C1 which i find a perfect size for sitting on top of my tv,but i notice that the M7C2 is not far off twice the depth, which might possibly not sit to well on top of some tv's.

I got it from hifibitz.co.uk, I get all my AV stuff there.
BTW it was not on their web site I mailed them and they were able to order me one at the same time as my amp and rears.

The M7c2 is quite big, its deep and shade wider than a standard 21 inch television.

It has two mid cones and a silk dome tweeter in the centre.

It is ported you can plug it with the supplied foam bungs but unless you are placing it directly on a wall then there is no point in sealing it.

It does look really mean which is great.

i agree Ron240 the m7c1 is a great size for the top of my tv, and not at all intrusive, but this speaker is just far to weak for a centre imo. I think mission realised this too which is why the M7C2 suddenly appeared. A definate upgrade required for me, i might put the m7c1 as a rear centre
