Just purchased one of these beasts and am mighty impressed with it.

Was just wondering how many watts it is, because the manual with it doesn't seem to say.

Cheers

you can get a realistic figure by looking at the spec. plate on the sub. look for-power consumption figure this will be near enough the internal amps power.

Mike,

I'm considering the Mission M5as (as well as the REL Q150E and Uncle Eric's Velodyne CHT 10), but my local dealers don't have the Mission in stock. Did you audition any other subs before deciding on the Mission? If so, what made you decide on the Mission (it certainly looks more wife-friendly than some of the others, but, unlike the current Mrs Sparrow, I'm more concerned what it sounds like!).

Thanks in advance for the advice.

Hi

I got it from a local audio visual specialist store in my local area (Bromsgrove, worcs. to be precise).

I did have a Kef PSW2000 along with a lot of other kit. It all got nicked though (apart from 5 kef egg speakers) from my mates garage before I moved into my new place.

When the money came thru it was new purchasements time. The lad at the shop is well clued up. He's got the Rel sub you've mentioned and is thinking of getting the M5-as instead!

My M5-as I got in black so it matches my Kef Q5 floorstanders, Q9c centre speaker and the 3 KHT2005 rear surrounds.

So it looks absolutely minted and as for the sound....well I'm no expert but it absolutely rocks compared to the Kef I had :)

The uncle eric's one I've never heard of so can't comment, but I can assure this baby's got some attitude!

Cheers

Mike
