    Well, as no-one else will!
    The amp is not too powerful for the speaker system. Basically it is more likely that low power amplifiers will blow up speakers when they run into distortion at high listening levels that are beyond the amplifier's output capability.
    With any system you should make sure that the volume level is reduced at the first sign of audible distortion, and don't leave the amplifier unattended at parties!

    Also note that most AV amplifiers are rated when driven in two channel mode only. The true power output with all five channels working is much lower than that indicated. If you want to work out the true power capability look at the maximum power supply consumption (usually shown as VA or Watts) and divide that by five. (To avoid the pedants I know that the power supply losses are not taken into account by this but it's only a rule of thumb).
