    Hi,
I have Mission FS2 speakers and subwoofer. Have searched the forums and like the Yamaha RXV1500 Receiver but a little worried that at 120W per channel it might be too much for the speakers. Mission recommend 30-75W/C Amplifier.Info from the forums is that these speakers need lots of power.Would it be safe to use the 1500 with these speakers?.

You will most likely be ok, before you break the speakers your hearing would probably go. You more likely to brake things having a weak amp and powerful speakers, than the otherway arround, the more power is ion reserve and gives the amp a better 'grip' over the speakers.
