I'm looking for some bi-polar rear speakers to accompany a Marantz 5200 receiver, Mission M73 stereo pair and M7C1 centre speaker. For "tonal balance" or whatever you call it I thought the choice was obvious - the Mission M7DS. However, the older Mission bi-poles (70DS and 77DS) are only £99 at RS at the mo, about £30 cheaper than anywhere I've found the M7DS. What does anyone reckon to these older models compared to the newer M7s?

I know that the solution is to "Demo, demo, demo!" but you can't audition stuff at my local richer sounds for some reason. I guess they can't be a*sed to set the stuff up.

    Thanks in advance

They are not the easiest of speakers to demo as they are normally fixed fairly high on the wall but they should match the rest of your Mission speakers quite well.
