    Has anyone heard of the above speaker? I've seen it referred to on various foreign websites, and assume it's a beefed-up version of the 77c1.

    As you say, it's a larger version of the 77C1. They weren't made in huge numbers but turn up occasionally.

    Managed the rare achievement of sounding no better than the c1 despite being more expensive- also looked a bit misshapen compared to the c1 as well.

    I've got the c1 at the moment, along with 775e fronts. I assumed that the drivers of the c2 would be a better match for my 775e's, and so was attempting to look for one. Doesn't look like this is the case though.

    higenbs - I have the same problem as you, the 775e/77C1 aren't very well matched at all.

    I'm looking into using another floorstander as the centre channel - of course this isn't always possible in most listening rooms.
