I'm looking for the yamaha DSP-A1 amp to run a set of 4 (of the same) speakers from. I'm able to get my hands on 2 pairs of mission 773e's for just £179.99 a pair. To me that seems a bargain however i don't know what else is available to me and where to get them?

I need something with a bit of umph to it hence i concidered the missions.

    Please help?

    Ollie

773e's are very good speakers but will need a sub for "umph"

I run a pair of the slightly larger and umphier 774's and am chuffed with them (with or without the Stata 3 helping!)

Yes the 773e's are exceptional speakers esp. for that price. They also make a terrific stereo pair unlike other av manufacturers, but a sub will be needed to make the most of the LFE channel on DVD. I assume you will use the two pair for fronts and rears, what are you going to use for a centre channel?
