Now I might have got this wrong because I wasn't paying full attention but I could have sworn I saw an advert by ntl/telewest bragging about their HD service and/or PVR capabilities. Has anyone else seen it?

If you're a Telewest customer, fair enough. But if you have to subscribe to NTL then the above advert is just a pack of lies (for now).

It bugs me becuase I'm with NTL and they've been so slow to get on the HD bandwagon. GGrrrr.

Is that the one with someone in the loo & they are talking about pausing the film?

If so they are talking about the on demand content that can be paused, fast forwarded etc while you watch it. No need for a PVR. It works with a standard NTL box.

    Hmm!
Sounds more like a "misleading post" (or subject title) now :D

(I am quite sure it wasn't intentionally so though).

NTL/Telewest seem to do this a lot do all the talk but no end product. An example is somthing I saw in the newpaper this weekend they advertising being the number 1 broadband company well number 1 cable company yes but not whole broadband BT are well ahead and they advertise they can match features up to Skys they prob can when they work which is not a lot of the time.
