    Hi

Here for sale is my LG V20 - This is the H990 Dual Sim version (2 separate nano sim slots, as well as a micro SD card slot)

I've owned it for about a week or so, and haven't used it outside of the house. I've decided to stick with my iPhone for the time being and so I'm offering this great package up for sale.

In the original box there is the USB-C charging cable, a set of unused earphones, and a non-UK charger. I will also provide the UK adapter that came with it, and an additional UK LG charger if you prefer to use that instead.

I'll list some of the reasons I bought the V20 in case you are unfamiliar with the model.

Quad DAC for hi resolution audio playback
    Micro SD card expansion
    64GB Onboard storage
    4GB RAM
    Bright 5.7 inch screen (1440 x 2560 pixels ~513 ppi pixel density)
    Additional multi-function secondary screen
    Military spec drop protection
    Separate dual sim slots
    Removable battery
Dual rear cameras (one standard, one ultra wide)
    Wide angle selfie camera
Fast and accurate rear fingerprint sensor
    USB-C connection
    Fast charging
    HI-Fi recording
    Manual camera and video modes

In addition to the phone (still with cellophane on the rear and on the fingerprint sensor), I am including a genuine Ringke Onyx case in Midnight Navy. In my opinion Ringke cases are the best, and the Onyx offers grip and protection without ruining the look of the phone. These cases are usually around £15-20.

I am also including the official LG spare battery pack. This includes a genuine V20 spare battery, the battery charging unit, and a handy slim case to transport a battery in. These are usually between £20-£30 and offer the option to go from 0-100% in a matter of seconds.

I am also including a 75 Ohm adapter - this can be used to trigger the Quad DAC mode with low impedance headphones - which will increase volume and reduce background noise etc - These cost around £9

Finally, I applied a full screen tempered glass protector (the screen underneath is pristine). It is hard to get a good fullscreen one for this phone (like many phones nowadays), and the one I have applied is thought to be the best as it offers full adhesion accross the screen, rather than just around the edges. It came as a pack of 2 for around £11, and I will include the unused one as well as the one applied.

Altogether this is a complete package for a unique high quality device.

I have priced it to sell, no trades required and no silly offers please.

    Hi

Was this bought brand new by yourself?
Where and when was this purchased from?
Do you have the original purchase receipt?
    What is the warranty situation?
What low impedance headphones do you use to get quad dac?
What kind of headphones does the phone come with?

Sorry for all the questions but am potentially v interested.

    Many thanks

My understanding is the Quad Dac has 3 modes -
    Standard for low impedance devices
Aux mode, which boosts volume (an earphone extension cable can be used to trick the phone into this mode)
Quad DAC mode - automatically kicks in with 50 Ohm and above devices, or can be tricked with the adapter I am supplying (which is a 75 Ohm adapter)

If you own some decent headphones, then you are good to go anyway, the above methods can be used to drive low impedance headphone with higher volume and better sound.

    Hope this helps :)

Thanks v much for the information - much appreciated.

Given this particular variant of the V20 isn't available in the UK, which online retailer did you purchase it from and what is the exact nature of the warranty provided by the seller - return to base? If so, at whose cost and to where?

Which version of Android is this running and which country's rom is used? Also, which LTE bands does the rom cover?

Could you also please post up a pic of the supplied headphones?

    Cheers

It was bought from eGlobal, the warranty is return to base I believe (at buyers cost to Hong Kong, although this link suggests it can be sent to their UK address).
It is running official 7.0 Nougat, and I haven't messed around with the stock firmware in any way.
My understanding is that all UK LTE bands are supported as this is the international version, my cell signal app shows Band 20 in use with my Vodafone sim card.

Here’s a pic of the earphones, I haven't tried them. They look better quality than most supplied with phones, and have inline controls etc

Thanks for the info. This says that the warranty is not transferable. Food for thought.

It's always a grey area. I've imported around a dozen devices over the years (phones/cameras/lenses), and I've always taken the warranties with a pinch of salt to be honest

Hi There. I'm interested, but struggling with the price - the phone is available from eglobal central and others for around £250, so can't understand your asking?

    Thanks

Hi Paul, thanks for your interest.

Unfortunately, in the short time since I bought it the price has fallen. However I am including the extras, and everything can be delivered quickly rather than the delay of importing.

Also, I was expecting to negotiate the price downwards, so started at a figure that I thought would allow this.

eGlobal have agreed a return if I want to, but I thought I would simplify things by offering it here for a couple of days first.

I am open to offers, but it may just be worth my while to send it back.

If I clear what I paid (after postage), I'll swap the LG earphones for an unused Bang and Olufson pair.

I'm not desperate though, so I welcome offers but will also happily withdraw it all from sale.
I only wish I can drag myself away from my iPhone, because in many ways the V20 wees all over it

Hi There. Give me a clue what that would be as I obviously don't know that bit.

    Thanks

    Hi

If I can clear £315 after postage, I'll include the B&O earphones (new and unused)

    How does that sound?

To be honest I'm not really bothered about earphones, but might be better just buying new. How much without earphones?

Still interested, but that's just too much for me compared with buying brand new.
