Looking at either of these cameras - interested in peoples thoughts. Both have image stabiliser, 5mp 12x opt zoom etc.

Is one likely to be better than the other, or more flexible. I have read I think that you can get polorising filters to add on to them too which sounds usefull, is this correct for one or both cameras?

Is one likely to be better built, or have a better lens etc.

Also, z5 uses AA's which seems an advantage.

All thoughts welcome, including any other suggestions for similar cameras - upto £400 inc mem card etc.

I have a Z2 which I assume is an earlier model. Build quality is pretty good, although the battery door is a weakness. The pressure required to close the door on the 4 AA batterys is excessive in my oppinion. Hopefully they have sorted that on the Z5. Battery life is not too bad really.

Hopefully this is of some use to you.
