Hello all.
My Mini Mac is practically dead on its knees so I'm looking for a small computer to replace it. I'm interested in going back to a Windows based system rather than Mac, simply because of the cheaper pricing. I have seen the following available on amazon and also it has been given a glowing review on AVF.......
MINIX NEO Z83-4, Intel Cherry Trail Fanless Mini PC Windows 10 (64-bit) [4GB/32GB/Dual-Band Wi-Fi/Gigabit Ethernet/Dual Output/4K]
It runs 64bit Windows 10 and has all the required outputs that I require, inc HDMI (to connect to my Sammy 4k TV) and various USB inputs so I can plug my Canon printer into it. So web browsing will be a sinch but my main question is this. I have a 8TB powered external HDD. Will I be able to plug this EX HDD into it and be able to run my HD MP4 movie files/Music etc. Also I haven't used a Windows based system for years now and i'm wondering is Windows media player still available or have they let that go years ago. If so what are my options for a windows based equivalent to Apple's Imovie? Finally is this setups RAM and drive space big enough to instal an anti-virus without causing speed issues?
Thanks.
