    hi.

im still pretty new when it comes to projectors and still very clueless when it comes to deciding what type or resolution projector to buy,

however my question is, whats the miniumum spec if i want a projector for a 100"-120" sized widescreen screen?
is there a minimum spec to look out for? or what not to get?

    thankyou

I would go for at least 1024 x 576 or 1280 x 720 depending on your budget, viewing distance etc.

Are you talking about 100 - 120" measuring the width of the screen or the diagonal measurement ?? If you have a screen 120" (10 ft) wide, you'd need to be sitting between 15 - 20ft away, even with a 1280x720 projector. At that width picture performance and light output will be compromised, imo.

Would recommend a max size of 8ft wide.
