Miller & Kreisel VX860 + BR5's good match ?

Matching subs isn't a big a problem as matching speakers and amplification. The 860 will far outperform the Monitor Audio sub which is designed for the BR5's.

I have the MA's in the Cherry, How do the colours compare (Or the Wife will Kill me) ?

Unfortunately, M&K's idea of cherry is a little different to MA's. The M&K one is like the KEF dark apple, whereas MA's is more like a maple finish.
